  HSA/HRA Administration
In addition to our strong health care management programs, NGS offers several other services to assist clients in promoting effective health care planning and purchasing skills with plan participants. These services include the provision of web based health content, provider quality and other decision assist tools as well as both Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) administration.

As with all other NGS administrative services, optimal flexibility is provided along with the highest level of real time integration. For example, with the HRA, clients can choose to have the Section 125 flexible spending account pay before or after the HRA, separate deductibles and copays can be placed on the HRA, pharmacy benefit managers integrated real time and claims can be administered on a first in, first out or claims incurred basis.

With HSAs, NGS can administer full claim integration with the HSA (balances after the high deductible plan adjudicates are automatically withdrawn from the individual's HSA), including no claim payer access to the HSA, or integration on a claim by claim basis with approval by the account holder. Each transaction is supported by a fully electronic interface with our HSA trustee-partner, Mellon Bank. Both HSA and HRA administration offer a combined Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for the employee and a combined Remittance Advice for the provider. Separate totals on the EOB identify amounts applied to the HDHP deductible, deductible status, HRA/HSA payment, and HRA/HSA balance. Balances are also accessible via the NGS Self Service InfoCenter.

Additionally, NGS offers assistance in the training of client personnel and assistance in employee meetings, including printed and visual presentations.
